Grandvalira: a world cup ski resort
Grandvalira continues to host major sporting events and high-level competitions. The Andorra ski resort has an interesting calendar for the season, with the Ski World Cup, followed by the Speed Skiing World Cup.
A World Cup ski resort
With the same enthusiasm with which Grandvalira presented its first candidacy in 2006 to host a World Cup, the resort continues to host some of the most outstanding competitions in the world of alpine skiing. In the 2018-2019 season, Grandvalira once again made history by hosting top-level sporting competitions and top international events. The highlight was the FIS World Cup Finals 2019, which were held in Grandvalira for the first time. In addition, the ski area once again hosted the 2019 Launch Kilometre World Cup and the 2019 Total Fight Masters of Freestyle, one of the star events on the world Freestyle calendar. In 2023, Grandvalira was once again hosting top-level events with the AUDI FIS World Cup Finals and the Speed Skiing World Cup.

AUDI Fis Ski World Cup Soldeu 2024

Andorra is the chosen setting to host the Women's Alpine Skiing World Cup in 2024. The Avet slope in Grandvalira Soldeu will host the giant slalom and slalom disciplines from February 10 to 11.
In total, the women's circuit will incorporate 22 venues and 44 races. The World Cup will kick off and conclude in Austria with the giant slalom event in Sölden (October 28), and the World Cup Finals in Saalbach (March 16 to 24). Meanwhile, the iconic Avet slope will welcome the world's best female skiers in February, following Garmisch-Partenkirchen (GER) and preceding Crans Montana (SUI).

One of the most outstanding events in Grandvalira in recent years has been the extreme speed trials on the Riberal piste in the Grandvalira-Grau Roig sector. This season, the world's fastest skiers will return to Andorra for a double KL World Cup event.
The impressive 10 m ramp validated by the FIS will once again guarantee the spectacular nature of the event and will once again enable the 200 km/h target to be reached.
